Terms of Service

Last updated 19 September 2026 · plain language on purpose

What Hawkline is

Hawkline watches public web pages you point it at. When a page changes in a way that matters, we send you a plain-language summary of what changed, by email, Slack or Telegram. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Your account

You sign in with an email address or a Google account. You are responsible for the watchers you create and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. One person per account; a Team plan covers your colleagues via shared delivery channels.

Acceptable use

We can suspend accounts that break these rules. We'll tell you why.

Plans and billing

The free plan includes 5 watchers at hourly checks. Pro ($29/month) and Team ($199/month) raise the limits and unlock 15-minute checks. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number. You can cancel any time from the billing portal on your desk: your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then drops to free. If something went wrong with a charge, email us and we'll sort it out like adults.

Honest limitations

Read this section, it's the important one.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for consequential losses, such as a missed deadline or a business decision made on an alert.

Ending things

You can delete your watchers any time and stop using the service; email us to delete the account entirely. We can discontinue the service with reasonable notice, and would refund any unused paid period.

Changes and law

If these terms change materially we'll note it here with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Questions: hello@hawkline.app.
